Phil Reames

Phil Reames began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers after completing graduate work at the University of Georgia.  Here, he was exposed to hundreds of businesses across nearly every industry in the market. His career evolved from public accounting to investment banking where he grew his own firm to eleven offices throughout the United States with over 300 stockbrokers.  His greatest passion was taking companies through the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process.  He has over 35 years of M&A experience ranging from transactions of less than $1 million to $880 million.   Representing both buyers and sellers, he has completed transactions totaling over $10 billion.

Phil has served the University of Georgia in various capacities including as a Lecturer and Chairman of the Advisory Counsel for the J.M. Tull School of accounting and Chairman for the Terry College of Business Alumni Board.  He is a Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient, Terry College of Business, University of Georgia.
